Why did you choose Yangaro for your wedding celebration?:
We chose Yangaro in Funnel Bay, The Whitsundays, for our wedding celebration because it offered everything we dreamed of—breathtaking surroundings, luxury, and intimacy. I was captivated by the lush tropical gardens, manicured lawns, picturesque mountains, and serene beachfront. It felt like a hidden paradise, perfect for such a special moment in our lives.
The idea of "eloping in elegance" fit perfectly with Yangaro's ambiance. Its striking natural beauty and panoramic water views of Funnel Bay created a magical setting that felt worlds away, yet so inviting.
To make the celebration truly memorable, we arranged luxurious accommodations for ourselves and our guests. The highlight was the Cerulean Villa, known as "the Jewel of Yangaro," which offered beachfront access, upscale amenities, and sweeping ocean views. Each couple had their own suite with a deluxe king bedroom and private ensuite, ensuring everyone experienced the comfort and beauty of the venue. Yangaro was more than a venue—it was the perfect stage for an unforgettable celebration of our love.
What is your favourite memory from the day?:
Our elopement was a beautifully intimate affair, shared with just ten close friends—five couples who mean the world to us and have supported us throughout our journey. Over three days we immersed ourselves in unforgettable experiences together we celebrated love, laughter, and lifelong friendships in a stunning backdrop that made each moment feel special. This close-knit gathering created cherished memories that will last a lifetime, proving that sometimes, less truly is more when it comes to celebrating love, against a breathtaking backdrop.
