Facilitator Feature: Meet Kara Lodders – Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Guiding you back to balance through restorative movement, sound, and stillness.
As part of our upcoming Yangaro Yoga Reset Retreat (23–25 May 2025), we’re honoured to introduce one of our featured facilitators, Kara Lodders—a deeply intuitive Yoga & Meditation Teacher based in the Whitsundays.
With a professional background in healthcare and education, Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health and Neuroscience. Her yoga teaching is grounded in therapeutic approaches, including Yin Yoga, Trauma-Aware Yoga, Mental Health-Aware Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Healing.
Kara’s approach focuses on helping students return to homeostasis—a balanced state where the body can rest, repair, and restore. Through intentional movement and deep stillness, she guides guests to reconnect with their physical and emotional energy so they can show up more fully in their daily lives.
What Kara Will Be Offering at the Retreat
Kara will be leading deeply restorative sessions combining gentle yoga and sound healing, designed to soothe the nervous system and invite spaciousness into both body and mind. Expect a nurturing and reflective environment that encourages stillness, self-awareness, and subtle energetic shifts.
